Take a break – three poems about kittens and puppies

The Kitten in the Pot

A puppy sits with gentle gaze,
By blooms of purple, summer’s haze.
Beside him rests, in terracotta’s embrace,
A kitten peeks, its soft, round face.

One stands tall, a loyal friend,
The other dreams where clay walls bend.
Together they form a tranquil scene,
A garden duet in vibrant green.

Cuddled in the Grass

In fields of pink and emerald bright,
Two young hearts share pure delight.
A kitten yawns, a sleepy blur,
While puppy’s warmth encircles her.

The breeze whispers through the flowers,
Marking their soft, untroubled hours.
Nestled in love, they softly lay,
Guardians of a carefree day.

Twins of Snowy Fluff

White as clouds and soft as air,
A kitten and pup make quite the pair.
Their fur reflects the morning light,
Like blossoms kissed by winter’s bite.

Their curious eyes, a shared allure,
A bond of innocence, strong and pure.
In nature’s quiet, they calmly sit,
Two fragile souls, perfectly knit.
